Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is Houston's premier multispecialty group practice, founded in 1949 by Dr. Mavis Kelsey in Houston's famous Texas Medical Center. More than 600 physicians and allied health professionals practice at 31 locations and an accredited Sleep Center in the Greater Houston area. Medical services offered by Kelsey-Seybold include medical care in 65 medical specialties including primary care and specialty care, outpatient surgery centers, an accredited Sleep Center, a Radiation Therapy Center, laboratory services, advanced radiology services and other diagnostic services, 15 on-site Kelsey pharmacies, and a secure web portal for patients to communicate with their Kelsey-Seybold doctors, get test results and schedule appointments.Kelsey-Seybold has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as the nation's first accredited Accountable Care Organization and a Level 3 (highest) Patient-Centered Medical Home. In addition to these recognitions, Kelsey-Seybold is home to a nationally accredited Breast Diagnostic Center, Endoscopy Center, Infusion Center, and Cancer Center. The ideal candidate is a hard-working, team player with a favorable work and/or training history. The physician should be able to independently administer and interpret routine and special diagnostic tests in an expedient and professional manner. The candidate should also be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians and other professionals to provide optimum care for each patient. Kelsey-Seybold Speech Pathologist doctors treat children, adolescents, and adults at Kelsey-Seybold's Main Campus location and at neighborhood clinics throughout Houston.Responsibilities include:Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. SLPs will work as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, which may physicians, audiologists, and ENT physicians. Qualifications
