This position is defined as safety-sensitive, and as such, is subject pre employment and random alcohol and drug testing under the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications One year of verifiable experience operating commercial motor vehicles in support of grounds maintenance, highway maintenance, parks maintenance, or similar operation is preferred. Physical Demands Will be exposed to working in outdoor weather conditions. Frequently moves boxes, material and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across campus utilizing provided tools. Must be physically able to withstand medium to heavy lifting involving frequent exposure to all types of weather conditions. Salary Range $37,121 Special Instructions Summary Applicants will be required to provide their drivers license information and create a Clearinghouse account to enable participation in the License Event Notification Service (LENS) and Clearinghouse for Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The FMCDS Commercial Drivers License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse is a secure online database that will allow the University at Buffalo to request access from applicants to identify drivers who commit drug and alcohol program violations.
