Requisition Number: Staff_13720 Business Unit: College of Medicine Department: Neurosurgery 50003929 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Additional Information: Position Summary: Department administrator for Neurosurgery is responsible for the fiscal and administrative oversight, and accountable to the Department Chair for adherence to all UNMC and Nebraska Medicine (NM)/UNMC Physicians (UNMCP) policies & procedures as well as any other academic and clinical partners. Coordinate the business affairs, manage its non-faculty personnel, and work with the College of Medicine and any clinical partners regarding the budget and financial operations. Work with multiple partner organizations (UNMC, UNMCP/NM, Children's Hospital and Medical Center (CHMC) and VA to accomplish the strategic educational, research and clinical goals of the department. Collaborate with the Chairperson on long range planning and development. Work closely with clinic management on the fiscal and operational aspects of varying sites at which clinicians practice. Salary Range: $73,300 - $117,300/annual
