THE OPPORTUNITY: The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a leadership role and is expected to be a contributing member of the executive team. The ideal candidate for this role will be an entrepreneurial, innovative change agent, with a track record of credibility and success in building and leading best practice applications of comprehensive human resources programs, ideally in a large, complex not for profit healthcare or human services setting. He/she/they will be actively involved in the business of the organization and have a voice at the table where strategic business decisions are made. The CHRO will be a strategic partner to the CEO and COO, and a key resource throughout every facet of the organization, which comprises multiple departments, specialty areas and entities. The individual in this role will lead and oversee a team that is responsible for the entire range of human resources functions. The CHRO will be expected to assess and build upon the current departmental structure to ensure that human resources programs and practices are in sync with the strategic direction of the organization and current best practices and trends in the field. He/she/they will work collaboratively with leadership to promote best practices, and an alignment with institutional goals and objectives including diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to ensure that RiverSpring Living is well-positioned to attract and retain the very best talent. The CHRO reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to the CHRO is a team that currently includes the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, Director of Benefits, Director of Talent Acquisition, Benefits Manager, Talent Acquisition Managers (2), Human Resources Operations Manager, Onboarding Specialist, and Office Manager.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
