Posted Job Title SENIOR IT AUDIT SPECIALIST (Hybrid Eligible) Job Profile Title Internal Audit Specialist Job Description Summary Internal Audit Specialist Job Description Looking for the newest Senior IT Audit Specialist to join a highly productive and well-established IT Audit team! The Senior IT Audit Specialist will join two other Senior IT Audit Specialists, an IT Audit Project Manager, and an IT Audit Director in evaluating risks related to the use of technology across the University of Pennsylvania and University of Pennsylvania Health System. This challenging and engaging role will enable you to gain exposure to the higher education (academic/research) and healthcare sectors while working with all levels of management, and work collaboratively with other OACP audit teams and the University and UPHS Compliance and Privacy teams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to maximize their experiences/skills to consult and advise IT management on IT-related matters beyond traditional audit projects. This is a hybrid eligible role, meaning you will benefit from being part of a vibrant campus community/culture while working remotely other times. The Senior IT Audit Specialist is responsible for planning, performing, and supervising the performance of complex information technology, operational and compliance audits, management advisory services, and investigations focused on the University and Penn Medicine. Manages project assignments, budgets, and timelines to ensure the timely and effective completion of assigned projects. Additionally, the Senior IT Audit Specialist is responsible for assisting the Associate Vice President, Internal Audit and IT Audit Director during the annual risk assessment cycle by identifying key IT risks and developing the proposed annual IT Audit work plan. May provide direction to less experienced auditors, with attention focused on the overall conduct of the audit, audit methodologies, identification of key risks and controls, evaluation of controls, data analysis, workpaper techniques, presentation of audit findings, and report writing. Interacts with all levels of management throughout the University and Health System. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Accounting and Information Systems, Business Information Technology or a related field. Five or more years of experience in IT Internal Audit, Operations, or Public or Financial Accounting (Business Advisory Services or consulting experience). CISA, CISSP, CIA or related certification strongly preferred. Experience in the healthcare industry preferred. Possesses adequate knowledge of a wide variety of IT domains, particularly:

Department / School Audit Compliance and Privacy Pay Range $74,476.00 - $120,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and the pay range assigned to the job profile.
