Business and Financials Principal Trainer (flex-hybrid)

DescriptionUnder the direction of the Training Manager, the Business and Financial Systems Principal Trainer (PT) oversees the comprehensive curriculum for Workday business systems. Key Responsibilities:
This flexible hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and on-site work, requiring presence on-site as needed based on operational requirements. Please note, travel to the "home office" location is not reimbursed. Each employee will complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager to outline expectations and ensure mutual understanding. These arrangements are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted or terminated as necessary. Salary offers are based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The full salary range for this position is $102,500 - $227,700 annually. The University anticipates offering a salary between the minimum and midpoint of this range. Qualifications Job Qualifications · Bachelors or master’s degree with equivalent work experience · Required to become certified in Workday Application · Experience in designing, delivering, and maintaining synchronous and asynchronous training programs for Workday application · Preferred prior experience with IT systems and systems development projects. · Ability to collaborate with SMEs and learners throughout the instructional design process. Works with all levels of the organization, from front-line staff to senior management. · Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills. · Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to all levels of application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner. · Effective leadership skills and strong customer service orientation. · Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring trainers. · Experience working with the communications team to publish training schedules and communicate with stakeholders · Must be detail-oriented and have a knack for probing for information in order to fully understand the underlying needs that influence how a training material should be configured/ organized. · Ability to manage and prioritize multiple and competing tasks, appropriately delegate and track work, and hold individuals accountable for work tasks. · Ability to work effectively as a team player and work with people of all backgrounds at all levels. · Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without reminders. · Ability to remain calm in difficult and stressful situations. Must be able to recognize problems, evaluate, and refer to the appropriate channels for action. Required Knowledge and Experience · Minimum of 3 years' experience in multimedia development (Workday Training development preferred). · 2 to 3 years of Advanced Adobe Captivate 9 and Camtasia user. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite. · Experience in adult education, instructional design, and eLearning development. Proficiency with a variety of learning development tools. · Experience creating & editing voiceovers using Captivate or Audacity · Experience using webinar hosting tools (i.e., Zoom, MS Teams) and Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone On Demand preferred) · Experience working in healthcare is highly desired. · Demonstrated project management experience managing complex, high-priority projects on tight deadlines. · Demonstrate proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes Microsoft Office Suite, email, and MS-visio.
