SUMMARY Directs financial activities of the University by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate support staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by proper personnel.
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as a member of business affairs reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages employees in the accounting and accounts payable area, and selected auxiliary services. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) from four-year University required; Master’s degree in Accounting/Business or CPA preferred. 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in multicultural academic environments preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
