Overview The marketing manager is a motivated and creative team member who drives the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Avison Young’s Florida Region. Primary responsibilities include new business development, brand elevation, and property marketing support. The marketing manager is also the team manager, providing strategy, team mentoring, coordination, and communications for the marketing staff across all five Florida offices. While the person in this role is dedicated to the Florida Region, he or she will also be a key member of the South Region marketing team, which spans 15 markets across the Southeastern United States, including Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, in addition to Florida. Responsibilities - Primary focus is on sales support activities. This includes the development and execution of all marketing materials for new business pursuits, to include collateral development, lead generation campaigns, pitches, and proposals. End products should reflect Avison Young’s unique differentiators, competitive advantage, and surpass stakeholder expectations.
- Creative lead on all top tier work and projects from initiation to completion; provide creative ideas, brand oversight, visual and innovative solutions; lead the conceptual, development and execution of all creative work, while inspiring and advocating for the team to produce great ideas and exceptional work.
- Provide quality oversight on all high-profile initiatives and new business pursuits in the areas of print, digital, interactive, motion graphics/video, etc.; ensure concepts are delivered seamlessly and optimally across channels and platforms providing the best user experience.
- Creative oversight of the multimedia content relative to client stories, video/drone/motion graphics, VR/AR, podcasts, social media.
- Participate in client presentations, pitches and meetings, as a representative of Avison Young’s marketing team, its differentiated capabilities and creative solutions.
- Perform as the ‘knowledge hub’ for Avison Young’s Florida service lines and subject matter experts ensuring marketing efforts are coordinated, consistent, and relevant to the individual industries, markets, and the firm.
- Work in a dynamic team environment and build and execute on multi-channel marketing plans for Avison Young brokers and their clients.
- Drive collaboration with Avison Young’s Market Intelligence team to deliver data-driven marketing deliverables, thought leadership and campaigns to elevate our brand in the market.
- Develop strategy for Avison Young’s digital and web presence in concert with the regional strategy, and in alignment with the national digital marketing team. Identify ways to expand Avison Young’s online presence through website, social media and email marketing strategies.
- Organize, coordinate, and manage in-person and virtual events, webinars to promote the company’s services, engage with clients and other stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Avison Young brand and visual identity, with quality control processes to produce professional work product, on time and within budget.
- Build strong relationships across Avison Young’s organization to leverage its extensive marketing and creative resources, research teams, brokerage administrative staff, and business unit leadership across the regional and national platform.
