This executive will drive enterprise-wide operational excellence, service line strategy, and transformational growth in Heart and Vascular.

The National Service Line Administrative Leader is a key enterprise leader, responsible for overseeing operations, strategic initiatives, and financial sustainability of the Heart and Vascular clinical service line. This highly regarded healthcare executive, in a collaborative dyad partnership with the Heart and Vascular National Service Line Physician Leader, provides administrative leadership for the service line, ensuring a balanced approach to strategic, operational, and clinical priorities.

This partnership fosters shared accountability, aligning business and clinical objectives to enhance patient outcomes, financial sustainability, and academic advancement. Together, they drive strategy, business planning, facility development, operations, and quality of care across the full continuum, ensuring seamless integration across all divisions and care venues.

The ideal candidate for this position will bring deep expertise in healthcare administration, service line management, and strategic growth. They must be an innovative, forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of optimizing large-scale, multi-market clinical operations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise-wide clinical service line operations, ensuring seamless integration across all Advocate Health regions (Illinois, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Georgia).

• Lead multi-year service line strategy, driving patient access, clinical quality, financial growth, and academic impact.

• Manage large-scale capital investments, budget oversight, and financial planning, ensuring service line profitability and sustainability.

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide initiatives, including innovative care models, workforce strategies, and digital transformation efforts.

• Foster physician and clinician engagement, ensuring alignment with system-wide strategic priorities.

• Ensure operational excellence through performance metrics, dashboard tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support mergers, acquisitions, certifications, and accreditations, expanding the national footprint of Advocate Health’s Heart and Vascular service line.
