This is an opportunity to be an influential sales leader for a top global automotive brand well-known internationally by late-model car enthusiasts.

If you have the right ambition and drive you’ll be joining the world leader in aftermarket dual-clutch transmission components and now select automatic high-horsepower transmission applications and legacy manuals. Dodson designs and manufactures replacement clutches, gears, and a multitude of hard-to-find transmission components for many of the world's fastest R35 GTRs, Lamborghinis, McLarens, AMG Mercedes, BMWs, Audis, C8 Corvettes and Porsches. We have recently expanded into the market for 8-speed automatics (A90 Supra, BMW G80 M3) and have further plans in legacy manual applications. Our products are used in a variety of street, circuit, and drag applications, but are most known for their world record-setting performances in quarter mile and half mile drag events. Dodson is based in Auckland, New Zealand, with a growing team of ~75 staff across our 3 plants plus sales outposts in the US and the UK. You will be based in the United States (remote work, location flexible), reporting to the Global Sales Manager base in Atlanta, Georgia. Sales staff typically travel to New Zealand once per year for alignment with the broader team.

Guided by the Global Sales Manager, this role will work closely as a peer with the UK-based Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia (EMEAA) and hand-in-hand with order execution, fulfillment, and technical support staff based in New Zealand.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering on a sales plan and introducing new sales initiatives to drive dealer growth in North America (primary), Latin America, and Australia/New Zealand (secondary)
• Traveling to set up and train new dealers on product installation, regular visits to key accounts, and to support the team at annual events such as trade shows and race events (will have opportunities for global travel)
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and engineering team members on what new markets to venture into to support the growth of our extensive dealer network
• Monitoring sales activity within your regions, analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and taking corrective actions to address performance gaps.
• Overseeing the sales pipeline, ensuring proper qualification of leads, adding new dealers and driving opportunities through the entire sales process.
