 PSR 3- Sports Medicine Clinic Job Summary The Patient Services Representative 3 (MOSC 3) is responsible for sustaining an environment of intrinsic goodwill for the practice while providing optimum services to patients. This position requires the skills and ability to manage the level of responsibility and accountability necessary to provide specialized duties for the department/clinical team for which it is assigned. This position may also perform front office duties consistent with that of Patient Services Representative 2 (MOSC 2), per operational needs. This posting is a Transfer/Promotional opportunity for UCD/UCDHS Employees (internal candidates). Applications from current UCD/UCDHS employees will be considered first. Department Overview UC Davis Sports Medicine is a multi-disciplinary collection of experts in orthopedic surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, sports performance, and wellness. We provide rapid access and comprehensive care to everyone from professional athletes and aspiring pros to 'weekend warriors' and fitness buffs. We work closely with therapists, trainers, nutritionists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals to obtain an optimal outcome. Our approach involves attentive listening and personalized care for each patient, with the goal of eliminating pain and optimizing function. Our sports performance lab provides a host of assessments to evaluate current fitness levels, determine effective course of action, and monitor improvement. We can help enhance athletic performance and physical fitness, prevent acute and chronic injuries and extend athletic careers. Department Specific Job Scope The position will support the Sports Medicine service line, to include the Sacramento (C Street) campus location as well as the Davis (Edwards Family Athletics Center) location as needed.
