ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Staking Technician I or II is responsible for work order procedures and the staking of line extensions and new services. It may involve working near high voltage power lines. This position continually works directly with consumers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. May be required, on occasion, to drive a personal or company vehicle for company business.
  • Must be able to work productively independently or cooperatively with others in a team.
  • Must possess written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at the level required to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the position.
  • Must be able to operate office machines, computers and associated programs at the level required to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the position.

Additional Salary Information: Additional Compensation Information: Salary is contingent upon relevant experience. SDCEA offers a welcoming, family-oriented, and community-engaged work environment with highly competitive benefits.
