Department Summary This position is housed within the California Center for Population Research at UCLA (CCPR), which is an interdisciplinary community of scholars committed to advancing research on the demographic and social determinants of health and understanding how health influences population dynamics and socioeconomic wellbeing. CCPR fosters innovative research by providing a collaborative environment designed to enhance the quality of scholarly work and its impact, including research and computing resources and pre- and post-award grant services. The community of scholars at CCPR is dynamic and growing, with over 150 faculty affiliates. Over 50 PhD students, post-doctoral fellows, visiting scholars, and research staff are in residence at the Center. Position Summary CCPR seeks a public health scholar, survey researcher and advanced data scientist to support the work of the Periodic Assessment of Trajectories of Housing, Homelessness and Health (PATHS) monthly longitudinal survey of the unhoused population of Los Angeles. The successful candidate will manage consolidated institutional review board (IRB) protocols in UCLA IRB systems, develop integrated Qualtrics survey workflows for prescreen, baseline and monthly followup surveys, develop real-time flexible data analysis and visualization templates in R for univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis, lead publication of scientific papers and policy reports, oversee recruitment, methodology and analysis for evaluation of field medicine programs, and supervise project staff. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
