Classification Title : IT Database Administrator II Department: Information Technology Services Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Months per Year: 12 Months Position Summary : UNC Asheville's Information Technology Services (ITS) department is looking for a dynamic Applications Systems Analyst to join their team. The Applications Systems Analyst is responsible for providing system support for the development, maintenance and enhancement of enterprise systems, including, but not limited to, the Ellucian Banner General, Student, Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid, Self-Service Banner, and DegreeWorks Systems. This position also supports other ancillary systems within the department. The employee in the position analyzes and implements new applications, interfaces, system enhancements, workflows and supports new technologies that improve the delivery of administrative services to students, faculty and staff. This position will work with users and other ITS staff members in the maintenance and support of database software, complex reporting, SQL scripting, and automating processes associated with administrative applications utilized throughout the university. Minimum Education/Experience/Skill : Master's degree and 2‐4 years of experience; or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related area and 3‐5 years of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role.
