Department Name: H4004:Enterprise Supply Chain Job Summary: The System Value Director/UKHC leads supply chain expense management, overseeing value analysis committees and cost-saving initiatives through sourcing and contract standardization. They manage department budgets, monitor performance, and engage hospital leaders in value-based decision-making. This role collaborates with senior executives, clinicians, and vendors to drive supply expense reduction and facilitate strategic discussions. A strong data analyst, they interpret complex financial and operational data to guide executive decision-making and process improvements. Key skills include leadership, negotiation, financial acumen, and expertise in supply chain management. IEBC (Internal Candidate Being Considered) Skills /Knowledge/Abilities: The ideal candidate will have an excellent medical terminology background; be well organized; exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); enjoy working independently as well as closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; outstanding computer skills (to include Microsoft Office); above average customer service skills; analytical skills and knowledge; strong ability to engage and motivate others; active listening skills; and understanding of budget/finance principles. Position Time Status: Full-Time Required Education: BSN Required Related Experience: 5 yrs Required License/Registration/Certification : Registered Nurse (RN); Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP) within two years of hire. Preferred Education/Experience: Knowledge of academic hospital and clinical staff, including but not limited to laboratory, radiology, nursing, pharmacy, medical staff, etc. Clinical experience (peri-operative and/or interventional experience) highly preferred. Previous experience participating on or conducting a product evaluation, value analysis or process improvement committee preferred.
