Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints. Position Summary The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN- CNP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) reflects the mission, vision, and values of UI Health and adheres to the UI Health Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, & other regulatory/accreditation standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant school & has Board Certification from a Nationally Accredited Certifying body. The APP functions as part of a multidisciplinary team in accordance with privileges approved by the credentialing committee to provide high-quality, cost-effective advanced care to patients. APP collaborates with supervising physicians in an area of clinical knowledge within the scope of license to assure patient health outcomes. The APP is required to have and maintain a faculty appointment in one of the UIC schools or colleges to practice at UI Health. Duties & Responsibilities
