Posted Job Title Assistant Chief Physicist - Virtua Health (Department of Radiation Oncology) Job Profile Title Medical Physicist C Job Description Summary Reporting to the Systems Director of Medical Physics, the Assistant Chief Physicist - Virtua is a board-certified Medical Physicist who participates in meeting the overall clinical physics needs of the Division of Medical Physics within the Department of Radiation Oncology at Virtua. Specifically, the Assistant Chief of Clinical Physics Virtua directs all medical physics and dosimetry efforts for Virtua Radiation Oncology facilities (including participation in HUP's Quality Assurance Program and Quality and Safety Management Services). Must possess high level knowledge of and experience in all conventional clinical physics procedures, including but not limited to, operation and calibration of treatment devices, operation and calibration of dosimetry equipment, operation and calibration of treatment planning systems, quality assurance procedures, 'specialized procedures' (SRS, SBRT, TBI, TSE, HDR) and familiarity with radioactive material handling, safety procedures and regulations. Job Location - City, State Voorhees, New Jersey Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $129,695.00 - $250,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and the pay range assigned to the job profile.
