Do Great Things! Durham Technical Community College is hiring an adjunct instructor of Developmental Mathematics in the Science and Math Department. In general, the work of the Instructor, Developmental Mathematics includes performing teaching duties requiring the ability to stand for long periods of time. Duties at other campus locations may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. The Instructor is responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of classroom instruction and for providing those related support activities required for optimal student learning and effective educational programming. As a member of the faculty within the Science and Mathematics Department, the Instructor is also accountable for assisting and supporting the Chair and Dean in meeting the instructional and curricular requirements of the program, department, and division.

A bachelor's degree in mathematics or math education and 18 hours credit in graduate-level mathematics. Preferred Qualifications: A master's degree in mathematics or math education. Work Experience: One year of successful teaching experience at the postsecondary level. |
