The Vice President, Children's Services Finance (VP) is a core member of the UCSF Health Children's Services leadership team, which reviews and shapes Children's Services policies, aligning strategic priorities with System goals and objectives, and adjudicating complex and large-scale issues that the Children's Services faces. Under the direction of the SVP Children's Services, the Vice President, Children's Services Finance is responsible for the financial management of the Children's Services. The VP has responsibility for: financial planning; capital planning; budgeting, accounting, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, reimbursement, revenue cycle, financing and design and operation of internal control systems. As a member of the senior management team, the VP participates in the formation, communication and implementation of strategic plans and institutional policy, and will also assume the leadership role for key initiatives that cross departmental lines. The VP serves as one of the executives that negotiates with outside third-parties on the Children's Services behalf, and is the designated reviewer of significant finance transactions. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The anticipated salary for this position is $500,000 - $550,000 (Annual Rate).
