Supervises eight staff who perform a variety of duties, including ordering, receiving, invoicing, claiming, copy cataloging, original cataloging, and metadata creation for digital objects. Helps to establish and modify procedures and workflows in consultation with an ADD librarian and other library staff and librarians, as required. The Acquisitions, Description, and Discovery department was recently formed due to the merger of the Acquisitions unit and the Metadata and Technical Services department. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California Vaccination Program Policy. Educational Requirements Degree: Requirement: Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.: Required Course work in library techniques or library science, cataloging and metadata creation standards.: Preferred Experience Requirements Experience Requirement 6 - 10 years of related experience.: Required Previous supervisory/managerial experience.: Preferred Minimum Requirements

Functions as advisor to unit and administration.
