PSS is looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to contribute to our corporate growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority within the industry. The ideal candidate will have strong work plan development, progress oversight skills, and advanced problem-solving abilities. They will be expected to manage multiple projects across different client sites and prepare and present progress updates to executive management on a regular basis. The project manager will plan, initiate, manage, and execute full project life cycles for all assigned projects. This is a full-time salaried position that will typically be performed Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., at our corporate office in Manassas, VA. This position may require additional hours and weekend work during project kick-off and compliance walkthroughs at the project sites. Job Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within and across multiple projects • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to project requirements • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate clients, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes • Collaborate with the internal business development team to accurately bid estimations on future projects • Assist executive management with corporate growth by creating and maintaining new clients • Create and review submittals at project release promptly • Strong background in doors, frames, and hardware (DFH) to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise throughout the project. • Develop and maintain project tracking records, i.e., change order logs, submittal logs, budget change logs • Adhere closely to the predetermined project schedule • Attend regular meetings with Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Accounting personnel to ensure a successful completion of the project • Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors responsible for completing various phases of the project, using various construction software, i.e., Procore, Helix, and Building Connected • Monitor the progress of the construction/ installation activities and facilitate regular status meetings with all the sub-teams. • Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards to include the overall management of field staff on the projects • Conduct periodic inspections of construction sites weekly Benefits: • Competitive Salary • Health Insurance with Vision & Dental • 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match • Three (3) weeks Paid Time Off • Six (6) Observed Holidays • Company Events Ability to commute/relocate: • Manassas, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) |
