Posted Job Title Research Specialist A (Department of Otorhinolaryngology) Job Profile Title Research Specialist A Job Description Summary The Kreeger Lab is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented research specialist to become part of our auditory neuroscience research team. We use anatomical and physiological approaches in combination with genetic tools to answer questions about how auditory neurons develop and form functional circuits. Job Description Job Description: The Research Specialist A will conduct research and provide technical support to projects studying neural circuits in the auditory brainstem using anatomical and electrophysiological methods. Responsibilities include assistance with electrophysiological experiments, mouse colony husbandry, genotyping, sectioning neural tissue, staining sectioned tissue for protein expression, image analysis, 3D neuron reconstructions, and organization of laboratory records. Ability to keep accurate records and excellent organizational skills are essential. Position is contingent on grant funding. Job Responsibilities:

Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $44,500.00 - $50,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
