POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the recording and reporting of event related transactions including posting of necessary accrual and reversal entries to the general ledger. Performs various monthly financial analysis and reconciliations of general ledger accounts including posting necessary journal entries to the general ledger.  Assists with the annual financial statement audit. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.    Recording of Attraction Settlements and Box Office Statements.
2.    Recording of show accruals and reversal entries.
3.    Preparation of show Flash Reports.
4.    Bank Reconciliation of Box Office accounts.
5.    Timely filing and payment of Performer Withholding Tax Returns.
6.    Assist in the preparation of annual Form 1099 & Form 1042 tax returns (Show Related).
7.    Timely filing and payment of Massachusetts Liquor Tax returns (Form 180). 
8.    Timely filing and payment of Massachusetts Sales Tax returns.
9.    General Ledger analysis pertaining to shows.
10.    Overseeing the accounting for merchandise and food & beverage commissions.
11.    Assists with the annual financial statement audit.
12.    Maintain, archive and dispose financial records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
13.    Assists the Manager of Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Audit, Controller & Chief Financial Officer with various special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.    Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
2.    Five or more years of experience in Accounting.
3.    Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
4.    Computer experience including financial information systems and PC applications including Microsoft Office.
5.    Detail oriented and possess effective oral and written communication skills.
6.    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and achieve timely completion.
7.    Possess an appropriate sense of urgency.
8.    Demonstrate a team service attitude with colleagues and vendors.
9.    Ability to embrace change.
10.    Ability to maintain confidentiality relating to all financial information.
11.    Ability to be efficient and effective in a hybrid working environment.

Hybrid/Remote work is allowed.
