Requisition Number: S_250264 Department: College of Law-0899 Description of Work: The College of Law is looking for a talented self-starter who loves doing a variety of different projects and likes it when the day flies by because they are meaningfully engaged in important work. Our ideal hire will manage complex projects, coordinate/manage various projects requiring independent judgment for our legal professionals. The position serves as a first point of contact for faculty and students. Desires to be a part of a high-functioning team of professionals focused on the important work of developing the next generation of inclusive leaders. This position will assist various faculty, key programs, law students, and manage confidential information. Provide assistance for various classes including but not limited to assisting with Canvas, class preparations, room reservations, seating charts, photo rosters, tracking paperwork, student grades, and coordinating exam reviews and distribution. Assisting with website postings and updating links, managing SharePoint sites, reviewing and verifying reports. Support planning and coordination of faculty activities and events. Assist faculty with printing, proofreading, copying, editing textbook publications/manuscripts/research documents. Purchasing of books, bar dues, conference registrations, and subscriptions. Relaying messages from students to professors. Relaying mail to professors on leave. Travel coordinator for faculty, staff, and students including but not limited to creating travel requests, making travel arrangements, creating expense reports (including non-travel expense reimbursements), group PCard expense vouchers. Law Review assistant: managing financial transactions, accounts receivable, cash receipts. Coordinate faculty candidate visits. Create Qualtrics surveys. CLE coordinator.
