Accountant II

The position will function under the general supervision of the Accounting Director and involve detailed accounting duties that involve a high level of complexity. This position will analyze and maintain accounting controls and day-to-day accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely accounting data is produced and recorded in accordance with standards and rules established by professional, federal, and state governing bodies.

The Accountant II assists in analyzing, reconciling, recording and preparing financial transactions and reports for various activity, including capital funding, projects and fixed assets. The accountant applies generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and follows internal controls within all assigned areas.
