Assistant Director of Athletic Digital Media & Content Creation

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the direction of the Director of Athletic Communications SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervises student workers. POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director of Athletic Digital Media & Content Creation will collaborate with the Director of Athletic Communications and is responsible for leading the creative direction and content for Moravian Athletics video production and social media platforms. Responsibilities will include cultivating fan engagement through video production and digital media content for Moravian University's 23 NCAA Division III athletic programs. This position will lead game-day video including the in-venue broadcast at Rocco Calvo Field and video on demand for the web and social media. Other duties as assigned by the DAC or other athletics department officials. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in communications, video production, sports management, or a related field is required. Experience in videography and social media is required. Experience preferred in athletics communications and marketing. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel are needed. Displaying the ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced high-pressure environment are essential. Other qualifications include: Experience and skill in video editing using Adobe software and video animation, Nevco Digital scoreboards and livestreaming software including Hudl/BlueFrame, preferred. Knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.) a must. |
