Junior Budget Analyst POSITION DETAILS CUNY?s Office of Budget and Finance provides strategic, responsible, and effective leadership and management of the University?s financial and budgetary resources. The Office?s goals include, among others, ensuring that relevant, accurate, and timely information is provided to key decision makers along with maintaining financial management policies and procedures that ensure prudent use of CUNY resources. Within the Office of Budget and Finance, the Budget and Planning Operations department manages the budget for 25 colleges, professional schools, and administrative campuses across the five boroughs of New York City. The Budget and Planning Operations department is looking for a Junior Budget Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring that University budgets are accurately reflected in CUNY, City, and State financial systems. The incumbent will also monitor University expenditures and provide customer service for budget-related inquiries. Job Title Name: Finance Budget Coordinator CUNY TITLE Assistant to HEO FLSA Non-exempt COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The salary range is $54,268 - $65,946 , commensurate with credentials, education, and experience. CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
