Posted Job Title Information Security Analyst Job Profile Title Information Technology Security Analyst Job Description Summary Information Systems & Computing (ISC) is the University of Pennsylvania's central IT organization, providing the core network, data, voice, video, and enterprise application infrastructure and services upon which Penn's numerous Schools and Centers build their unique tools and capabilities. ISC's 300-plus employees work closely with the University's IT organizations in order to create, deliver and support products and services that help Schools and Centers operate efficiently and effectively. Penn's ISC Office of Information Security (OIS) Security Operations Center (SOC) coordinates security services and projects across campus to help safeguard the University's information assets from unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, damage, or loss. The SOC team is seeking an IT Security Analyst to support this mission. The IT Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring and auditing security policies to protect University systems. Key responsibilities include leading security improvement initiatives, staying current on emerging threats, responding to SOC tickets, investigating incidents, conducting forensic analysis, and tracking incident trends. The analyst will also assess risks, report on security issues, provide guidance on new technologies, support SOC team members during incidents, and assist University constituencies as needed. Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Information Systems and Computing Pay Range $61,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
