Qualifications

Required Education: MD, MD/PhD, DO, MBBS, or MBBCh

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

• Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology
• Medical oncologist/hematologist licensed to practice medicine in Oregon
• Board certified/board eligible in medical oncology/hematology with a desire to practice in a community-based clinical environment as part of an academic health care system

Preferred Experience: 3 years of Physician Leadership Experience

Job-Related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Competencies):

• Ability to provide excellent clinical care to cancer patients in the community setting.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at one time
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills: both written and verbal.
• Proven track record of ability to work successfully with multidisciplinary team
• Strong communications and relationship-building capacity and ability to listen, and understand Infusion and Medical Oncology Clinic needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems
• Must possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships
