Director of Finance EBCHC

Position Summary:

• Directs the Finance Department of EBCHC, which covers the budgeting, reporting, and auditing functions. Oversees management, recruitment, training and evaluations of the Finance Department staff. 
• Responsible for the development, preparation, presentation, financial system input (Hyperion) and monitoring of the annual budgets of the Health Center. Presentations include presentations to the health center community board and Dean of RWJMS. 
•  Responsible for the monthly production, review, analysis, and presentation of the health center financial statement to the Executive Director, Community Board and Finance Committee, RWJMS, health center leadership team and staff. 
• Develops and prepares financial analysis reports to support financial analysis needs of the health center and RWJMS. 
• Responsible for and assists the Director of Financial Operations (RWJMS) with general accounting related requests from Rutgers and RBHS finance offices. 
• Maintains financial records and ensures compliance with standard accounting practices and all local, state, and federal regulations. 
• Responsible for the management of accounting and financial operations to safeguard assets, cash, and banking activities of the center. 

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a business-related discipline. 
• A minimum of seven (7) years of professional fiscal management experience, preferably in a Federally Qualified Health Center environment, including four (4) years in a financial leadership role.
