![]() Physician Recruitment & Retention Manager (EMPLOYMENT MGR 1) Job Summary The Physician Recruitment & Retention Manager oversees the physician recruitment team at UC Davis Health. This team manages recruitment across the School of Medicine, Affiliate Network, and the Community Physicians Group. The Physician Recruitment & Retention Manager develops and implements strategic recruitment programs, directs the full-cycle recruitment process, and supports UC Davis Health's mission of fostering a diverse, world-class workforce. This position serves as the key liaison with UC Davis Health leadership and external partners to ensure the successful recruitment of high-caliber, diverse physician candidates. The role requires an advanced understanding of physician recruitment practices, workforce planning, and regulatory compliance within a healthcare or academic medical center setting. The Physician Recruitment & Retention Manager will mentor and support a team of physician recruiters, ensuring effective and compliant recruitment practices while fostering a collaborative work environment aligned with UC Davis Health's DEI objectives.
