Purchasing Coordinator (Finance Coordinator) POSITION DETAILS The City University of New York (CUNY) Central Office seeks a Purchase Coordinator for the Office of the Chief Procurement & Supplier Diversity Officer. CUNY is the nation?s leading urban public university serving more than 500,000 degree-seeking students. The University comprises of 26 institutions: 11 senior colleges, seven community colleges, William E. Macaulay Honors College at CUNY, CUNY Graduate Center, Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies, CUNY School of Law, CUNY School of Professional Studies, Guttman Community College and CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Procurement, the Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the procurement process for assigned specific accounts. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: ? Creates all assigned aspects of the procurement process for specific accounts and departments. ? Prepares procurement records for the University. ? Assists in preparing specifications for bidding and develop lists of bidders for the use with Request for Quotes (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Invitation for Bids (IFB). ? Places advertisements in City Record and NYS Contract Reporter, including forwarding bid documents to prospective bidders and assists in evaluating bid responses. ? Assists with awarding contracts and prepares renewals letters; prepares spreadsheets to record progress of all contracts. ? Tracks purchases by categories for further analysis; prepares and analyzes vendor expenditure reports; coordinates data requests. ? Reviews and edits Fixed Assets FAS reports. ? Provides administrative support to eProcurement Core Team. ? Coordinates with vendors for emarket place. ? Assists and coordinates granting access and user roles. ? Assists Deputy Director with various projects as needed. Note: Until further notice, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree required. Job Title Name: Finance Coordinator CUNY TITLE Assistant to HEO FLSA Non-exempt COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Salary range is $54,268 - $62,689 , and commensurate with education, skills and experience. CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
