![]() eCampus Instructional Technology Coordinator Ohlone College Salary: $79,524.00 - $101,544.00 Annually Job Type: Full-Time Division: Academic Affairs Opening Date: 04/14/2025 Location: Fremont Campus - Newark Center - and/or eCampus Job Number: 202300140 Department: Academic Affairs Bargaining Unit: California School Employees Association (CSEA) Ideal Candidate Statement We are seeking an Instructional Technology Coordinator who will passionately and adeptly support Ohlone's faculty, staff, and students in using educational technologies, primarily Canvas LMS, Zoom, and MS Teams. The ideal candidate will have a history of promptly and comprehensively addressing faculty and student/customer inquiries. Proficiency in managing inquiries and delivering solutions through exceptional written communication is paramount. Joining our team of instructional designers and accessibility specialist, this role also assists with the planning, organization, and development of faculty professional development trainings and student information sessions. Specifically, the ideal candidate will have experience orchestrating events from inception to conclusion, encompassing scheduling, promotion, registration, logistics, facilitation, evaluation, and reporting. Candidates with experience in managing budgets, handling purchase orders, and maintaining department finances will find this role particularly appealing. Additionally, a proactive and inquisitive mindset, coupled with a commitment to staying updated on emerging trends in educational technology, is highly valued. Position Description Under general supervision, provides instructional technology support for distance education (currently housed under eCampus) programs and services. The Instructional Technology Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, organizing, and coordinating instructional technology activities and support related to instructional professional development, assessment, communication, technical and logistical support. The Instructional Technology Coordinator serves as a primary contact for faculty, staff and students regarding eCampus programs and services. The e-Campus Instructional Technology Coordinator plays a primary role in record keeping, budget tracking, and cross department coordination. This position is remote optional, however, employees are expected to be on campus for pre-scheduled meetings and college-wide events unless the employee is on leave (sick, vacation, FMLA, etc.). Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years experience in related field. AND Must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practices. Other Requirements Flexible working schedule (during Learning College Week as well as Summer Session) to meet the needs of faculty and students working during the evenings and weekends. Desirable Qualifications Coursework in instructional design, instructional technology, digital arts, or related field, and two (2) years experience with accessibility compliance techniques and testing tools in creation and repairing of documents.
