Job Description Summary

The Manager - Cost Control plays a key role in overseeing processes such as critical lease administration, mailbox management, report generation, periodic quality check initiatives, cost savings tracking, billings to clients, vendor management, and related financial scope. The function requires a strong understanding of lease and financial management, and client relationship management to ensure operational excellence. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide strategic insights to improve team performance and service delivery.

About the Role:

• Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis ensuring work is completed and deadlines are met.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Attend regular client calls and meetings to discuss account performance, address concerns, and provide updates on lease administration activities. Serve as the primary point of contact, fostering strong client relationships by understanding their needs, managing expectations, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to drive continual improvements in efficiency of services performed.

About You:

• Bachelorâ™s degree required with minimum of 10 years of work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supervising a team providing guidance and training to ensure productivity and accuracy.
• Experience in, accounting, invoice processing, and real estate will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in transaction management, property management, or lease administration is preferred.
• Requires knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations including an intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles to include accounting methods (cash, accrual, and full GAAP).
• High proficiency in lease management systems and database tools. Highly proficient in MS Office tools.
