Communications Broadcast & Multimedia Production Specialist (HEOa) - The Theater at City Tech POSITION DETAILS New York City College of Technology (City Tech) of the City University of New York (CUNY), a comprehensive college in downtown Brooklyn offering associate and baccalaureate degrees, is accepting applications for a Communications Broadcast & Multimedia Production Specialist for the Theater at City Tech. The City Tech Performing Arts Center/The Theater at City Tech is a catalyst in the continued transformation of Downtown Brooklyn through performance and the arts. Our facility strengthens our community presence, allowing us to expand our theatrical offerings, event conferences, CUNY students? showcases, musical performances, and art exhibits, to function as a NYC election site and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene testing site, and to serve as an accessible public space for commencement services, community arts productions, guest lectures, and a wide range of holiday and religious events. The Communications Broadcast & Multimedia Production Specialist will be responsible for supporting performing arts and event programming for the theater complex through creating and distributing existing content across all communication media, under the guidance of the Performing Arts Director and in consultation with the Office of Communication. Reporting to the Performing Arts Director, the Communications Broadcast & Multimedia Production Specialist will administer content creation and distribution for the theater complex across media, including the website, newsletter, social media platforms, and print materials, among others. Content initiatives will focus on news and narrative projects from across the school around a variety of topics, including various events hosted by all outside clients. The Specialist will also work to promote and distribute content toward the goal of raising the profile and the social media presence of the theater and the college. CUNY TITLE Higher Education Assistant FLSA Exempt COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS $82,928 - $90,375. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09%, with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/01/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/01/2026, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
