Tax Manager, Tax Senior or Staff Accountant - As per previous positions or a desire to achieve

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR

 

Level - Entry Staff 

 

Position requires knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, knowledge of basic financial statement presentations for accrual method and other comprehensive basis of accounting methods,  familiarity with Statement on Accounting and Review Services(SARS) issued by the AICPA,  knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures and payroll compliance reporting.  Good communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary because position involves client contact. Duties would include preparing and completing bank reconciliations, write-up of adjusting journal entries recording client’s transactions, input of client’s original source documents, i.e., checks, deposits, sales journals, daily/monthly reports, into a PC based accounting software package and being responsible for overall maintenance of clients general ledger and client’s financial statement reporting, and  knowledge of payroll compliance reporting and payroll bookkeeping procedures would be expected.  

 

Senior to Manager

 

CPA or actively pursuing CPA designation, 2 to 7 years prior public experience. Opportunities to practice in all areas of public accounting.  Must possess proprietary attitude and desires to develop client base responsibilities. Excellent computer skills, knowledge and experience with financial reporting practices, knowledge and practical experience with providing tax preparation and consulting services.  

 

  

Desired Skills & Experience

 

College Degree, BBA Or MS Taxation (MS) orMasters of Accounting (MPA)

or minor in Information Technology

CPA or Pursuing CPA Designation

Professional attitude and attire

Strong Problem Solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent computer skills, familiar Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Exployer
