Executive Assistant to Head of School/Board Liaison Reports to: Head of School Location: Los Angeles, in person on campus FLSA Status: Full-Time/ Exempt Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000. Position Description This role works closely with the Head of School to oversee the institutional well-being of the school and overall school community. Performing a key role supporting the Head of School and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school’s CEO office, this individual acts as a gatekeeper, liaison, and administrative partner, handling a variety of high-level administrative and organizational tasks with discretion, professionalism, and warmth. As Board liaison, the Head’s Executive Assistant acts as the primary administrative link between the Head of School and the Board of Trustees, helping to ensure that Board operations run smoothly, professionally, and in alignment with the school’s mission. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and seamlessly anticipates needs in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Experience and Essential Responsibilities

Qualifications BA/BS degree required; advanced coursework or certifications in administrative or educational support fields preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of executive-level administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting. Dedication to the highest level of confidentiality and discretion. Proven success working collaboratively and efficiently on a creative and goal-oriented team. Ability to make quick decisions, take initiative, and prioritize tasks. Exceptional organizational and time management skills; consistently prioritize multiple tasks effectively and quickly; excellent written and verbal communication skills. High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; able to interact with a diverse range of individuals with warmth and professionalism. Tech-savvy and proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with school systems (e.g., Blackbaud, SchoolPass) a plus. Culturally competent with a growth mindset and desire to be an engaged community learner. Commitment to the mission and values of independent education. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for school events and meetings.
