Physical Therapist Assistant: Full Time Days, MMC IP

Job Description

Are you an experienced inpatient Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who is looking to transition to a Nationally Recognized Hospital? If so, Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for the Inpatient PT Department at Morristown Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients. Principal Accountabilities:

Follow treatment plans to meet goals established by Physical Therapists, provide interventions, provide patient and family education, document interventions, and bill appropriately. Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises sound professional judgement of moderately complex cases.

Qualifications

Required:

1. New Jersey License to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

2. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant academic program

Preferred:

1. Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
2. 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
