Parkview Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in northeast Indiana, is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified Hospitalist to join our well established Hospital Medicine team in Fort Wayne, Indiana!

Specifics of the Hospitalist Role

• Physicians work on a 7 on / 7 off schedule with both day and night shifts
  • Traditional Role: 168 shifts (24 weeks per year) - 140 Day shifts and 28 Night shifts
  • Nocturnist Role: 140 Night shifts (20 weeks per year)

The Team

• Collegial group of 65 physicians and 31 advanced practice providers who are focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and who take pride in the exceptional teamwork and collegiality that exists among team members.
• Our group is based out of Parkview's flagship hospital, Parkview Regional Medical Center, located on the north side of Fort Wayne, Indiana and our urban-sized hospital, Parkview Hospital Randallia

Parkview Regional Medical Center

• $575 million-dollar tertiary medical center opened its doors in 2012
• 530-bed state-of-the-art facility
• Due to growing demand, the system recently added an additional 6-floor tower including a 72 new inpatient beds and additional shelled space for projected future growth.
• Closed ICU model

Parkview Hospital Randallia

• In 2014, Parkview invested more than $65 million into this hospital in the form of physical renovations, care model transformation and physician recruitment
• 179 beds
• Open ICU model

• Comprised of 10 hospitals, serving a patient population of 890,000 throughout 16 counties in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio
