The Incumbent under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of specialized grounds maintenance work in the preparation and maintenance of athletic fields, surrounding landscape, facilities and equipment. Perform grounds maintenance duties related to the design, layout, installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems; application of toxic chemicals for pest, insect and weed control. Prepare, measure, mix, and finish cement areas and complete minor construction projects for athletic areas.
