Job Description Responsible for overall facilities operation for multiple locations including all Kaleida Health hospital sites, Long Term Care facilities and various Kaleida owned off site locations for maintenance, repairs, Kaleida Health self-performed construction projects related to the physical plant, grounds, building systems and related support equipment. Prepares, monitors and coordinates the budgets related spending for these facilities both operating and capital. Maintains compliance with the Physical Environment responsibilities for DNV, NYSDOH, AAAHC, Federal regulatory agencies and other regulatory agencies. Has overall responsibility for system Plant Operations and Kaleida Health self-performed Construction team. Education And Credentials Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Professional Engineering License (PE) and 10 years of experience in management of plant operations in a health care setting. Must have a current NY State driver license. Professional Engineering License (PE) required upon hire. DNV - Physical Environment. Chief Stationary Engineers COB within 2 years of hire date. Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in the management of plant operations in a health care setting. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, local and CMS accrediting agency standards such as JCAHO and DNV as they apply to health care facilities. Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience and strong working knowledge of building HVAC equipment and systems, plumbing and electrical distribution systems as well as building automation, fire protection systems and piped medical gas systems survey and inspection requirements for all. Must be proficient in the use of computers and software needed to perform job which includes CAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and various web-based applications.
