Ticket Operations Internship

Essential job functions:

•Manage the ticket operations of assigned sports and events hosted by South Alabama Athletics and provide box office support for any other ticketed events as needed.

•Assist with assigning, printing, and distributing tickets to purchasers.

•Process ticket orders using South Alabama’s Paciolan ticketing software.

•Contact existing accounts for the purpose of season ticket renewals for the five South Alabama ticketed sports.

•Resolve customer problems relating to transactions and seating by determining the cause of the problem and implementing the best solution for success.

•Research and identify new ways to improve the sales and operations flow for all ticketed events hosted by South Alabama.

•Other duties and responsibilities: Prompt and regular attendance; Ability to work scheduled hours as defined (some nights and weekends required); Ability to work closely with student employees in the box office; Adhere to all University of South Alabama, Sun Belt Conference and NCAA rules and regulations; Other duties as required/assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations.

•Necessary special requirements: Superb interpersonal skills; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks, and function in a high paced environment; High level of motivation and assertiveness, as well as an ability to exercise independent judgement.
