439 - High School Assistant Principal (2025-26 School Year)

HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL JOB SUMMARYUnder general supervision of the high school principal, assists in the administration of a comprehensive senior high school, administers delegated functions which may include development of a Master Class Schedule, evaluation and supervision of the school curriculum and instruction program, coordination and supervision of student activities, assisting in developing the school budget; and other related work as required. ABILITY TO:
EDUCATION: Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, preferably in secondary curriculum or administration or a closely related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years of successful teaching experience. Previous administrative experience is desired.

Physical Demands: Sit, look downward, reach, (up to frequently); stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, push, pull, foot controls (occasionally); climb stairs, twist (infrequently); repetitive hand activities within close reach, such as files, keyboard & handwriting (frequently); lift/ carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally), may lift/ carry child up to 75 pounds (infrequently); extensive reading; use seeing, hearing & speaking (including in-person, phone & public address.) Working Conditions: Indoor office, outdoor school yard & grounds, driving to different sites. Exposure to: seasonal temperature variations, dust and wind, traffic, food preparation smells, use of office equipment and desk supplies.
