Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and goals for the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with department heads, medical staff, and nursing teams to assess needs, resolve issues, and optimize processes to support effective and safe drug therapy.
• Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
• Leverage deep expertise in pharmacy practices and concepts to plan and achieve department objectives effectively.
• Oversee and manage the delivery of pharmacy services, ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

•  An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD or Master’s in Pharmacy/Healthcare Administration).  Doctorate Degree preferred.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in pharmacy services, with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practices, regulations, and clinical applications.
