These are full-time hybrid project positions that will be funded through June 30, 2026.

The Office of Financial Services seeks to fill two Fiscal Analysts 4 positions to provide financial leadership and support essential public health operations. This role serves as the principal assistant to Fiscal Analyst 5, Accounting Services Supervisor, guiding unit staff in financial activities such as:

• Assist staff in handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, travel reimbursements, and general accounting functions.
• Ensuring transactions are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable standards.
• Assist in fiscal year-end close and reporting activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure timely adjustments to clearing accounts.
• Interpret and apply SAAM, RCWs, WACs, and GAAP policies.

You’ll conduct financial reviews, analyze fiscal data, and provide expert guidance on state and federal regulations to ensure compliance. Your work will directly impact the efficient management of resources, supporting the DOH mission to protect and improve public health in Washington State.

Location and Flexibility

Enjoy the flexibility of our hybrid work environment, where you can balance working from home and collaborating in the office.  It is anticipated that you’ll be expected at the DOH facility located in Tumwater for work activities between one (1) to five (5) days based on need.
