Department Summary The UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies and Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies are located with the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and support and advance cutting-edge research, the highest-quality education, and meaningful and influential civic engagement on the many pressing housing and transportation issues facing Los Angeles, the state of California, the nation, and the world today. We are home to the world?s leading experts in housing affordability, parking, public transit, transportation equity, traffic, new mobility, and more. We focus on how these areas intersect and shape the well-being of residents, especially those from marginalized and underserved communities. By understanding and addressing these complex issues, we aim to inform policies and interventions that create more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable communities. Position Summary The UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies and Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies are hiring a dynamic Administrative Coordinator (AC) to join our team. This key role supports the day-to-day operations of two leading research centers tackling critical housing and transportation challenges in Los Angeles and beyond. As AC, you’ll manage purchasing, event planning, office operations, and student worker coordination — all while working alongside top experts committed to advancing equity, sustainability, and inclusion. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to help drive impactful research and civic engagement, we’d love to meet you! Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common.
