The role you’ll contribute: The Laboratory Administrative Director has 24-hour accountability, authority and responsibility for quality of patient care/services, operational management, and human resource management for an assigned environment(s). Fosters the integration of the organization’s vision and values, and accomplishes the mission and strategic plan through an accountable work team. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Administrative Director collaborates with patients/customers, families, physicians, Administration and associates to meet customer needs and expectations in a patient focused and healing environment. The Administrative Director Laboratory is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing & controlling all activities & uses of personnel, equipment, & supplies to meet the needs of patients, associates, hospital & corporate clients. Assists in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Laboratory to ensure appropriate standards of service, practice, & care are established in accordance with state & federal law, Joint Commission & the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Has responsibility for assigned Laboratory tasks across the MidAmerica region including LIS, POC, CLIA compliance and other assigned regional duties. The value you’ll bring to the team:
