Oversees overall marketing efforts for select sports which may include Women's Basketball, Baseball, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Softball or Volleyball
Oversight of the Charlotte 49ers Norm Mascot program or Junior Kids Club
Helps to develop and coordinate marketing and promotional efforts for all Charlotte 49ers intercollegiate sports
Assists with content creation for Athletics Social Media Accounts (Instagram, Facebook & Twitter) ● Implements marketing strategies and game-day promotional activities for various sports
Assists with and plans special events
Designs and creates advertisements for print and electronic media
Assists staff with marketing and promotions of Football and Men's Basketball
Helps to oversee the student internship program
Assist Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing with on-campus grassroots marketing, to include student tailgating
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing Knowledge and Skills Considered Essential for Success:
Previous marketing experience
Previous experience with social media management
Must be self-motivated and team-oriented
Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
Computer experience, especially with desktop publishing (i.e. InDesign and Photoshop)
Minimum Experience / Education:
College degree is required, preferably in a related field.

Previous marketing experience
