The SON is dedicated to excellence in the development of healthcare professionals through in-depth education, professional partnerships, applied research, regional engagement and community outreach and impact. The SON is located in McNeill Hall, a state-of-the-art facility that includes offices, classrooms, a large lecture hall, computer laboratories, student success areas and learning commons, and the Simulation Learning Center. The Simulation Learning Center uses high, medium and low fidelity human patient simulators as a teaching and learning tool for nursing education. Through the use of simulation, we strive to create a realistic environment and a powerful learning experience that promotes cognitive, affective, physical and social development of the student as well as incorporating inter-professional collaborative experiences for students across the degree programs in the College. This position also supports travel arrangements, event planning, and faculty onboarding, contributing significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of the SON's administrative functions.
