One of the largest departments in USCs Keck School of Medicine, the Department of Medicine is seeking an energetic, friendly, customer service -oriented professional to fill a HD Payroll/Personnel Coordinator I role. Under the direction of the current HR Payroll team, the coordinator will assist in providing expertise and guidance to the departments 11 divisions and their related sub-units. Candidate will also coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and support HR and Payroll projects. The successful candidate will provide a wide variety of payroll and/or personnel services for the department with minimal supervision. Candidate will prepare, review and process payroll and personnel reports. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the areas below. Special projects and other duties as requested. Rate Information: This position will be Non-exempt and Hybrid-Flex. The hourly rate range for this position is$28 to $30.75. Other Information: Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree Preferred Experience: 5 years of personnel and payroll management experience Preferred Field of Expertise: HR and Payroll experience in a university setting Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; written and verbal; required Payroll experience preferably in a university setting. Knowledge of USC HRIS systems; Workday, the Student Information System (SIS), Beacon, and College Work-Study (CWSP).
